Dated: 24-01-2007

By virtue of the power vested in me as Election Officer to conduct the election of office bearers of Indian Society for Sheep and Goat Production and Utilization for the year 2007-08 and 2008-09, I hereby invite nomination from the members of the Society who joined up to 31.12.2006 and had paid their dues in full for the following office. Each nomination should be duly proposed and seconded by the eligible members of the Society.

1. Announcement of election / and call of nomination 24.01.2007
2. last date for receipt of nomination 14.02.2007
3. Scrutiny of nomination papers and declaration of candidates 15.02.2007
4. Last date for withdrawal of nomination 22.02.2007
5. Declaration of final list of candidates and dispatch of ballot papers to all the members 23.02.2007
6. Last date for receipt of ballot papers 16.03.2007
7. Counting of votes and declaration of results  17.03.2007

Note:-

1. As per the constitution of the Society, all the office bearers will hold the office for maximum of two years only.
2. Candidate or his representative can be present at the time of counting of votes
3. All letter/ correspondence will be acceptable up to 5.00PM only on the last date
4. No responsibility will be held for delay in post or other means
5. Photocopy of nomination form can be used
6. In the event of nomination, postal secret voting by ballot will be done. The ballots will be accepted by post or in     person
